Hi there, how does one contribute new (as in not-archived) programs to the archive?

Hi,

You can contribute items at:
http://www.archive.org/create/

You can either use our process, which starts on the above page, or you can use ccPublisher, a piece of software available from creative commons at http://wiki.creativecommons.org/CcPublisher (requires a short download to install the software).

Thanks,

Alexis

sorry, I should have been more specific. By "program" I mean "software". I have a couple of these I think should be archived for possible future re-use.

I have a question. I have used ccPublisher to upload some files to a archive.org URL, but now I would like to add more files to that URL using ccPublisher. How is this possible, because I attempted to use CCP and place the files under the same URL and it didn't work.

Something to do with an "FTP client" which will allow you to upload to the archive- I ALMOST managed to upload a song of mine to the archive, the process was confusing to me, even with the instructions in front of me. I'll get it and you will too- Remember- "ftp client" (like "smart ftp" which I found at cnet.com) GOOD LUCK!
